The short answer

Ask the clinic whether the named clinician can begin with a written photo assessment. Confirm who reviews it, the fee and any later call or examination. Hairline Desk coordinates by email, but only the provider can decide whether a remote review is sufficient or whether a call or in-person consultation is required.

Ask for the process before sending photos

Start with a simple process inquiry. You do not need to put your full medical history into a general sales email. Ask for the clinic’s approved channel and privacy information before sending medical details.

  • Can the named clinician review photos and reply in writing?
  • Which photo angles and intake questions are required?
  • Is there an assessment fee, and what does it include?
  • Will a video call or in-person examination be required later?
  • What is the expected response time?

Keep a preliminary review distinct from a final plan

A photo-based estimate, a sales reply and a clinician’s treatment plan are different things. Ask who authored the response and whether the price or proposed plan remains subject to examination.

Do not treat an AI hairline illustration as evidence of what surgery can achieve. It is a visual concept. Only your clinician can assess suitability, discuss alternatives and explain risks.

A short email you can use

Hello, I’m considering a hair transplant and prefer an initial written assessment. Can your named clinician review photos asynchronously? Please confirm the fee, secure upload instructions, expected response time and any required call or in-person consultation before treatment. Thank you.

What Hairline Desk can handle by email

We research options, request the written assessment process, ask about prices and dates, and coordinate follow-ups. You approve any clinical information sharing and take part in the consultation or consent process the provider requires.

If avoiding video is a firm preference, put it in your brief. We flag a provider’s requirements before you choose; we cannot waive them or complete a clinical consultation on your behalf.
